RCP can prepare oil handler and annual training programs relevant to your specific facilities and organization. These programs can be lead by your own training personnel,
and will help ensure that your employees know how to do their jobs correctly and in full compliance with the rules and regulations that impact your operations.
The programs can also be developed as self-administered training modules that meet all the requirements for training in the SPCC Rule.
The RCP oil handler training program includes:
- Operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent discharges.
- Discharge procedure protocols.
- Applicable pollution control laws, rules, and regulations.
- General facility operations.
- Contents of the facility SPCC Plan.
The RCP annual training program will:
- Highlight and describe known discharges as described in §112.1(b) or failures.
- Review malfunctioning components.
- Discuss any recently developed precautionary measures.
- Review the oil-handler training topics.
SPCC oil-handling personnel and annual training can be conducted by RCP at your facility. The training will be structured and catered to your specific location & operations;
for your site’s SPCC Plan; and will include a discussion of the recent Rule Amendments. Our SPCC training is provided by fully qualified trainers and fulfills the training
requirements and guidelines as set forth by the EPA in the SPCC Rule.
On-site training is an excellent solution for group instruction, especially when compared to the cost (including travel) to attend a public workshop. Call us today and we
will be happy to explore the option of on-site training at your facility.
